the Terraquaous City

In response to Mumbai’s future climatic condition in a hundred year’s time, the Terraqueous city utilizes the flooded landscape of the Worli Koliwada, and provides a self-sufficient floating city with a network of modular housing system and public programs. The Terraqueous city not only aims to provide an alternative way of living for the inhabitants by reserving their culture, but also reconfigures the future urbanism in the long run. This revitalisation encourages diversity and inclusion for both Koli and Worli, putting social element in its heart while at the same time brings in economic benefits.
